That is one thing I have always said that Pulte Homes is a great place to work. I tell that all the time to everyone I meet. I feel proud to work for such a successful company. Pulte treats their employees just like they would if we were the customer. The name of the game here is satisfy the customer, satisfy the employee and everyone is happy. In the five years I have worked here I have gotten along with everyone that comes through my construction office doors, from superintendents to director of construction. They actually treat you like a human being, asking how the family is or how is your new car running? From the company picnic to the lavish award banquet, Pulte always makes you feel like you are a part of the Pulte family. What company do you know that still gives out bonuses every quarter for the hard work that we as Pulte employees do each and every quarter? Each time we have a quarterly meeting it’s always a pleasure to see the new faces in the crowd, thinking to myself, wait till they see just how fantastic it is work for this company. I feel proud every time I say I work for Pulte Homes and I am always telling folks they should join the Pulte family. They surely won’t regret it. My employment history spans approximately 25 years, in various occupations, including many years working in the residential construction industry. However, working for Pulte Homes has turned out to be an exciting and novel experience. Pulte Homes’ philosophy of recruiting only the best the industry has to offer, while encouraging the sharing of new and innovative ideas, creates an exciting and stimulating environment for which to work. My first impression of Pulte Homes was one of amazement at the level of intelligence, knowledge and cooperation encountered with my fellow employees. The atmosphere of dealing on a daily basis with other professional and highly intelligent people enables us to discuss complicated issues and share ideas in order to resolve various difficulties that occur in our industry. Not only does Pulte Homes commit to hiring qualified employees, but they also encourage and provide extensive training that only raises their level of competence. There are many other reasons that I could state that would prove why Pulte Homes is one of the best companies to work for. Other considerations such as their commitment to the family lives of their employees, their beliefs that employees should be rewarded and recognized for their achievements, their genuine concern for the overall welfare of their employees, to name a few. What makes this company the best to work for is because of how this company was founded. Bill Pulte’s vision, dedication and desire, lead him to a successful outcome of Pulte Homes. Success is what makes a company a great place to work. If your work environment allows you to be successful, then it becomes a great place to work. Success can be measured within several different values. Success can be measured financially, by public appreciation, promotion or by the gratitude we receive from our homeowners when we do a great job for them. Growth is always a positive value in determining if a company is a great place to work. I have had the pleasure of experiencing great growth, either through promotion or within my discipline. This company allows you to learn as much as you want and grow within your ability. Or, is this the greatest company to work for because our current CEO had the desire to reach out to all of us personally? Was it because he stated in a public address that your family and your God are more important in values than your Pulte family? My favorite comment was who really cares for numbers 2, 3, or 4, we only care about being number 1. Pulte is the greatest place to work because I enjoy being part of the Pulte family.
