After being a stay at home mom caring for four children, two dogs, a parrot and an assortment of hamsters for ten years, Pulte Homes accepted me into their “family” circle in September 2003. Working in the Finance department of the Illinois Division has been an outstanding experience and one that goes beyond my expectations. I must say, for the first time in my career, I work with a group of people who not only enjoy their jobs, they enjoy each other’s friendships and are truly proud to work at Pulte Homes. I started my venture with Pulte Homes by purchasing my first home through Pulte. I actually worked for another builder at the time. I was so impressed with everyone I dealt with whether it be in person or over the phone. I decided at that time, THIS is the builder I want to work for. I was amazed by the attitude of everyone that worked here…everyone loves their job! It’s not too often one hears that! Pulte definitely believes in working hard and playing hard. I’ve never seen such extravagance at a company outing, holiday party, etc. The number one reason why Pulte is amazing is because of the people. Everyone is so supportive of one another, which makes everyone work harder. Whether it is a manager, a mentor, or a colleague, we all have the same vision…to be number one! Since Pulte Homes is a performance based company I was able to be promoted from a Sales Consultant to an Area Sales Manager in just over 2 years! I’m excited about my future with Pulte Homes and the opportunities that lie ahead and I wouldn’t even consider working for any other company but Pulte Homes!
