When posed with this question, one can only think of the obvious reasons why they love the company they work for. Compensation, benefits, hours on the job, and work environment are a few of those reasons. Yes, Pulte Homes is A+ when it comes to these obvious reasons, however, for this employee it goes beyond that. One word: TEAMWORK! My co-workers are the best group of teammates an employee could ask for. They are the reason Pulte Homes is a great place to work. I have never met a better group of people. We are a close knit family who depend on each other to see the job through to the finest detail. We work hard together and we play hard together. I have witnessed on many occasions, a co-worker in need of help both work related and non-work related. Whether it be shingling a co-workers house, pulling broken tree limbs and shoveling snow off of a roof after a snowstorm, building a deck, or donating to a serious cause, you will always find an army of co-workers ready to drop their already made plans to lend a helping hand. The teammates that I work with make life more enjoyable. Nobody can put a price tag on the value of teammates. If they could, I would be rich!

To list all the reasons why Pulte Homes is a great place to work in 250 words or less is near impossible! To begin with, landing this job has been a dream come true. I have never been so thrilled to wake up every morning and go to work. The camaraderie between employees is amazing and the culture is unheard of. When I started interviewing for companies in school I never quite found what I was looking for. Sure, there were those companies that had great curb appeal and promised so much, but could they deliver? I started speaking with actual employees of these companies to see what they thought. I was overwhelmed how many of them resented their jobs. When I found Pulte Homes I was immediately hooked. I started visiting the neighborhoods and talking to the current employees. All of them said the same thing, ‘we love our job’. After several interviews I was fortunate enough to be offered the job. It took all I had not to yell with excitement in the phone. I started shortly thereafter and have not looked back since. Where else in the world can you find a job with so much potential, excitement, and promise? Since then, my sister has also taken a job with Pulte Homes and we can’t be thankful enough for such a great company to exist. Because of this job our dreams can and will be obtained! There is a saying here in the Kansas City area; “If you don’t believe, you don’t belong!” I truly believe that there is no greater company in the world to work for!!!
