Pulte Homes does not leave employee development to chance. We provide a formal performance management process designed to align your individual objectives with the organizational goals. Below are the steps that are required to help Pulte employees achieve professional aspirations.

Establishing Objectives and Expectations
The first part of employee development is defining objectives and expectations. This is a process of mutually discussing and agreeing upon performance objectives and expectations that reflect a balance between individual needs and organizational needs. This process will take place within the first 30-60 days of being hired.

Coaching for Improved Performance
Coaching and mentoring are on going, daily processes. By watching your performance, your supervisor or mentor will play a critical role in your career development.

Reviewing Overall Performance (IPA)
The Individual Performance Appraisal is given to provide formal communication to employees about their performance against specific agreed upon objectives.

Planning for Employee Development (IDP)
The Individual Development Plan is used as a guide to developing the key skills that are necessary for you to achieve your goals and objectives, as well as develop skills and abilities necessary for future promotion.
